Picture 4a, 4b and 4c: speakers enclosed inside a sponge pad. The two sponges attach together via a velcro pad. The whole setup then attaches to your helmet ear portion via a 3M tape. you can remove the speaker from the helmet simply by removing the speaker portion from the velcro pad.
There are two speakers altogether, for the right and left ears.

When you hit the PTT button, the supersensitive "mic" picks up voice messages, amplifies and converts it into signals suitable for transmission by your radio. Surrounding noise outside the ear will NOT be transmitted, ensuring that your buddy hears ONLY you.
