PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This  console can work either as standalone or by connecting to a computer PC (Windows). You don't have to attach it to a computer in order to use it, set it up or program it. It can store 30,000 records when standalone. It can support access control. You can set the door to open at different time and by certain number of people. It will raise an alarm when someone tries to destroy it or wrongly close/open the door that violates the pre-programmed instructions in the console. It supports TCP/IP or RS485/RS232 communication interface to connect to a computer PC. Will also connect to your router / switches / etc, so that any computer with privileged password can remotely change the setting in the console.
USAGES:
FG is suitable for controlling access to entrances and exits of office, factory, hotel, school and etc. You can connect the console to electric / magnetic locks such as these 
You can also use it to monitor your employee attendance.
OTHER KEY FEATURES:
All input /output uses anti-jamming protection and over-voltage/circuit protection. The product goes through strict degradation test before leaving the factory. The biggest advantage of FG is its ease of installation, comes with multifunction, elegant design and sold at a reasonable price. The console uses highly reliable industrial component parts and optical sensors. It is easy to install. It comes with EM lock, installation is similar to traditional IC/ID Access control.
You can manage a maximum of 500 fingerprints into 5 major groups, each groups having different settings as to the time/date access privileges. You can have up to 10 combinations of fingerprints to access a door. For example, you can set the console such that only when Mr. Brown and Mr. Smith entered their fingerprint successively within a few seconds will the door open for them.
Besides using your fingerprints to gain access to the console, in the even of a broken finger, you can also use password as a backup method for access! Or you can disable the usage of password access if you are sure your finger will never be broken!
Even if you don't have the user's manual, the LCD screen on the console will also provide instructions on how to use it.

The following is specifications for the electric strike included in this listing:
BRAND NEW door electric strike with
NO (Normally Opened) and NC (Normally Closed) function and live remote monitoring function. You can manually switch the electric strike from NO to NC. Here is how:

Remove the two screws as shown by the two red arrows. After that, pull or push on the black cable as shown in the yellow circle. If you push the cable in, you get NC; pull and you get NO. After that, replace the screw to lock the position onto either NC or NO as you desired. |

This strike also has a monitoring function. This function will send a signal to your access control unit (such as this  or  ) to inform the unit about the status of the strike, whether it is in "close" or "open" position. Please note that your access control unit must have this monitoring and TCP/IP networking capability to utilize this function. Our access control module (click this icon or to buy it) does have this monitoring function.
Cable connection instruction:
1. White cables: If you set the strike to NO, then connect the white cables to NO and ground of your intelligent power supply. If you set the strike to NC, then connect the white cables to NC and ground of your intelligent power supply.
2. Yellow cable connects to COM or ground socket inside your access controller such as or
3a. If you set the electric strike to NO, then the orange cable is useless, and connect the dark blue cable to the signal port of your access controller. In the case of this controller, you connect to "SEN" port ("SEN" means sensor). In the case of this controller, you connect to "MC1" port on JP1 (Jumper 1) .
3b. If you set the electric strike to NC, then the dark blue cable is useless, and connect the orange cable to the signal port of your access controller. In the case of this controller, you connect to "SEN" port ("SEN" means sensor). In the case of this controller, you connect to "MC1" port on JP1 (Jumper 1) .
Hence, when the strike is ready to use, you are able to monitor the "close" or "open" status of your door from your computer (assuming your access controller has networking function and is connected to a network). |

ATTENTION 1: Please note that this electric strike can connect directly to access control unit such as or listed below, but we do not suggest buyer to do so because it will shorten the lifespan of your access control unit due to high current passing through the electric strike. Instead, you should connect the strike directly to an intelligent uninterruptible power supply (UPS)  that has NC/NO output. Make sure your UPS is "intelligent" meaning that it has NC or NO power output and can receive "door open" signal input from your access control.
ATTENTION 2: Normally Opened (NO) or Fail-secure rated electric strike remains locked during loss of power supply. Normally Closed (NC) or Fail-safe rated electric strike requires power to stay locked. When power is lost (such as a blackout), NC or fail-safe Electric Lock Strikes will remain unlocked until power is restored. Electric Strike that is NO rated may not be compliant with your local building / fire safety code. We personally feel that NC rated electric strike is safer. Buyer should check with their local safety code before making decision to buy a NC or NO rated electric strike. In order to ensure that power supply is not intentionally lost (in the event of theft/burglary), we suggest buyer to buy an Uninterruptible Power Supply shown below.
