PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Offered here is a ONE (1) new good quality     Access Control Power Supply Circuit Board Rated 5Amp for those who likes to build their own uninterruptible power supply UPS.  A typical access control UPS looks like this:   or these: and when closed look like this .  They all look complicated but is actually very simple and you can build it yourself!

Here is how.  A typical access control power supply like the one above cost over $160.

Here is a blow up photo of what a typical UPS power supply internal parts look like:

With reference to the photo above, it consist of only four parts.

1. The metal casing (you can get it locally from your hardware store).  Please note that you must use a metal casing to help dissipate the heat generated from the transformer.

2. (Upper left hand corner of photo above) An AC110V to AC12V step down transformer (if you are in the US) ; or AC220V to AC12V step down transformer (if you are in Europe).  Please note that the item you are about to purchase  already has a built in step down transformer, so you do NOT need to buy additional transformer.  The built in step down transformer can take in AC110V to AC260V, so this circuit board can work in any countries all over the world.  This is unlike the other two types or power supply circuit board that we also sell as such:  and , which does not have a built in transformer.

3. (bottom of photo above, resembles a black block) The rechargeable battery (this is optional, and is very useful in the event of a blackout).  This is available also from your local electrical store or radio shack or even Wal-mart.  This battery should be rated at least 5.0AmpH to give you at least 10 hours of power supply in the event of a blackout (this depends on how much power your electric strike consumes, most of them is rated under 0.4AmpH).  For those of you who are not worried about blackout, you don't have to buy the battery which will further lower your cost.

The rechargeable battery should be rated at least 5.0AmpH or preferably 7.0AmpH like the one shown in the photo above.  The battery should also be rated DC 12V.

4. (Upper right hand corner of photo above) The access control circuit board which you can buy from us now with this listing!

All the above can be bought and cost less than $60 or less, depending on how and where you buy the parts!  The rechargeable battery is optional.

KEY FEATURES:

The circuit board supports NO (Normally Opened) or  NC (Normally Closed) rated electric strike / deadbolt.

It has safety fuse to prevent short circuit.

It also has battery charging feature.  Simply connect the two cable shown above to a rechargeable battery rated at least 5.0AmpH or preferably 7.0AmpH like the one shown in the photo above.  The battery should be rated DC 12V.

Because this board is rated 5Amp, the minimum current rating for your step down transformer should exceed 5Amp.  We strongly suggest you get one that is rated 5Amp or more.

The circuit board comes with an adjustable 0-15 seconds door open time delay.  In other words, if you set the delay at 10seconds, the door will stay unlocked for 10 seconds.

The circuit board has remote control feature, so that if you do not want to open a door via your door controller, you can just press the remote controller and the door will become unlocked.
